In a business built on deception, five cops manage to
find themselves in the center of a barbaric attempt
on one of their own. They have to unravel clues,
follow leads and hope it takes them where they need
to go.
Alix is a member of an elite drug-task force and is
about to retire a wealthy woman. However,
moments after she deposits millions of dollars, her
children are kidnapped and held for ransom. She
turns to her own task force, and their leader,
Trapper, for help in hopes of seeking street justice.
What she finds is a world of violence unlike anything
she's ever seen. She must watch her step and figure
out the clues in time to save her kids and herself.
One mistake could turn deadly.

Synopsis:
Alix Minette is one of five police officers on a drug task force. She is ready to retire after
inheriting millions of dollars. Her dreams of making her life, and the lives of her children,
more comfortable are about to come true. Surrounded by good friends and good fortune,
Alix believes life can’t get any better.
Her worst nightmare is discovered when her children are kidnapped and held for ransom
moments after she deposits her fortune into the bank. She must give up her good fortune
in order to save her kids. Willing to do anything to get her children back alive, she
agrees. However, her task force friends are on the hunt to find the kidnappers and bring
them to street justice in hopes of saving their dear friend’s fortune and her children.
Alix eventually gets involved and realizes the clues lead to lies, which also leads to
murder. Figure it all out and she could save her kids from certain death. They all get
caught up into a mastermind’s plot of barbaric violence and have to sift through their
own minds and emotions to solve the case.
Jim Delaney, the computer geek squad member, works feverishly to crack The Silex Code,
an intricate system used to track the money once it’s moved. It could also lead them
straight to the kidnappers. Meanwhile, Thomas Rammer supplies the muscle to attack
whoever is responsible, Eddie Bowles uses his instincts and his love for Alix to find out
who is at the center of the plot, and the leader, Trapper Harris, sticks by Alix’s side and
collects all the information and helps put together the pieces.
Eventually, they all learn about one another and it alters their lives forever. They have to
trust in order to survive, but, what if the plan is too solid? What if the code can’t be
cracked? What if they all end up dead? Will they ever recover from The Silex Code?
